Elasticsearch Indices query 정리

이 문서는 Elasticsearch Indices query에 대해 정리하기 위해 작성했다. 

테스트는 Kibana의 Dev tools에서 진행하는 것을 기준으로 문서를 작성했다. 

테스트 환경

테스트 환경은 다음과 같다.

• macOS Catalina v10.15.2

• Elasticsearch 7.1

• Kibana 7.1

Cat indices API 사용 예

Elasticsearch의 Index list와 각 Index의 Documents 개수를 확인하기 위해서 다음과 같은 명령어를 입력한다. 

GET _cat/indices

결과는 다음과 같다.

결과에 컬럼과 특정 Index를 보기 위해서는 다음과 같은 명령어를 입력하면 된다. 

GET /_cat/indices/st*?v&s=index

결과는 다음과 같다.

Cat indices API에 대한 설명

GET /_cat/indices/
GET /_cat/indices/<index>

위의 Query에 대해 설명을 진행한다. 

다음 명령어는 기본적인 API에 대한 설명이다. 에는 특정 Index의 이름, 또는 \*을 이용해 규칙에 맞는 Index를 조회할 수 있다. 

GET /_cat/indices/st*?v&s=index

위의 Query에 대해 설명을 진행한다. 제일 마지막의 에 해당하는 부분을 st로 시작하는 index에 대해 조회하며 결과 표시를 ? 뒤의 옵션을 이용해 변경해 출력했다. 

옵션에 대한 자세한 사항은 아래의 표를 참고한다. 

항목	설명
S	(Optional, string) Comma-separated list of column names or column aliases used to sort the response.
V	(Optional, boolean) If true, the response includes column headings. Defaults to false.
